How a Photoshoot Works

From booking to the final gallery drop, here's the entire journey.

BEFORE THE SHOOT

Step 1: Secure Your Slot!

You book a slot & we'll chat about your vision. We'll nail down the vibe, location, and all the fun details.

DAY OF THE SHOOT

Step 2: Main Character Moment

It's go time! We'll meet up and create magic. I'll guide you with poses, but mostly we'll just have fun.

1-2 WEEKS LATER

Step 3: Our Creative Checkpoint

I'll deliver a gallery of previews for you to select your favorites. You can leave comments for minor tweaks, but the overall artistic edit is where my vision shapes the final image!

3-6 WEEKS AFTER SELECTION

Step 4: The Editing Process

High-quality editing is an art that can't be rushed. My editing queue is not first-come, first-served, so delivery can range from 3 to 6 weeks.

Need them sooner? If you have a deadline, just send me a message! I'm happy to bump you up in my queue at no extra charge.

THE GRAND FINALE

Step 5: Your Gallery Drops!

It's here! You'll get a link to your private online gallery with all your stunning, high-res photos. Download, share, and enjoy.

A Quick Heads-Up!

These are my most common questions, so I want to address them right away.

No RAW or Unedited Files

My service is to deliver a complete, fully-edited final product. Unedited/RAW files are not provided as they are not representative of my finished work.

Editing is My Job

To protect my artistic integrity, I handle all editing myself. My unique style is part of the package, so client-side edits are not permitted on delivered photos.

Other Common Questions

You have a lot of freedom! You are welcome to use the photos for personal prints and even sell those physical prints if you choose (for example, at your convention table).

The only restriction is on commercial licensing. You are not permitted to sell or license the digital photo itself to large corporations or advertisers without my written consent. If a company approaches you with an opportunity, just message me and we can discuss it!

Bad weather at a convention can be tricky. If it rains, our plan is to pivot to a covered or indoor location. Many conventions have great architectural spots or covered walkways we can use to still get amazing shots.
Yes, absolutely! Having a friend along for support or assistance can make the experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
